McFly

As the hastily-erected banner says, McFly are coming here at short notice on
the 3rd Oct. Tickets are in short supply but there's a few left. Tickets
won't be there forever so, as Fred Pontin used to say,..'Book Early'. Who
was Fred Pontin?...don't remember or not old enough then see here...
http://www.butlinsmemories.com/2/id182.htm

I'm sure Freddy also used to say 'Relax', or was that Frankie?

Scene Behind The Stalls

And we don't mean our downstairs seats...This is a new exhibition in
Fairfileld's Art Corridor which is now on view to the public. This arresting
exhibition focuses on the lives of the traders of Croydon's Surrey Street
market. It was put together by Susan Beresford and Jeanne-Marie Eayrs
working under the artistic collective name of 'Undercroydon'. The exhibition
is sponsored by Nestle.
