McGough reads a selection of his animal poems with the orchestra performing the music which inspired them: Saint-Saëns' Carnival of the Animals. Young pianist sisters Tomoka and Ayaka Shigeno, both graduates of the Yehundi
Menuhin School, perform Mozart's Double Piano concerto, whilst the LMP maintains the animal theme with Haydn's Hen
Symphony.
